Whom we help

Earlier we used to feed the pupils of Alfred Akumu's school in Kibera. Now we also treat them a little. No Pain project is the only access to medicine for these children. They have never been examined by a single specialist before.

Why we help

Many families in Kibera live on $ 1 a day. Parents have no money for the most basic medical care for their children. Children suffer from helminths, ringworm, skin diseases and much more serious illnesses. But it is possible to remove the bulk of ailments by the simplest means - anthelmintic and antiviral drugs, antibiotics. And numerous intestinal infections, the scourge of African slums with their unsanitary conditions, can be defeated with simple soap.

What we do

Every month we transfer money to Alfred Okumu for the purchase of soap, disinfectants and the most popular medicines. The project started with a school-wide clinical examination, which was carried out by professional nurses - employees of the christian mission located in the neighborhood. The children received deworming, ringworm treatment, and got personalised health advice. In accordance with professional recommendations, Alfred purchases the medicines necessary for his students.
