children must live

The pandemic is retreating in Kenya.

Alfred Akumu, the Kibera school founder, whom we help with feeding the pupils, sends life-affirming pics of the pupils in his school together again.
No, classes are not resumed as usual yet, but they practice at school get-together as Alfred says. Twice a week children gather in the school for classes and other activities. Children run to meetings. There are two reasons: they missed each other and they are fed here. Twice – unbelievable! – a week. Breakfast at 10.00 am. Lunch at 1.00 pm. At 3.00 pm well-fed and satisfied children go home.
The government, meanwhile, promises to open schools in Kenya soon.
We are still helping the pastor's school. The next payment covering the cost of catering for 50 pupils for a month was transferred yesterday.
